Meet the Instructors

Lilly Davis grew up with horses, started riding at age four, started riding lessons at 7 and trained her first young horse at 10. Graduated with an Equine degree from St Mary of the Woods College. Following graduation she worked with Bo Jenna, the head trainer of the Swedish National Stud for one season. Also she has ridden in clinics with Mary Wanless, Nadeen Noon and many others for a well rounded education. Lilly’s emphasis is dressage and jumping.

Gwyn Davis has 35 yr experience in the horse industry breeding, showing, horse sales and instructing. Her interest is in dressage. Learning from many different instructors and clinicians through the years have given her a broad base of dressage knowledge. Gwyn will work with any level rider and any bred of horse. She taught dressage at St Mary of the Woods College for 4 years and now teaches at Maple Ridge Sport Horse Stable.

Candice Pelfrey has 15 years of experience with horses and has an Equine Studies degree from St Mary of the Woods College. After graduating, Candice was a Riding Program Instructor and Jumping Team Coach at Culver Military Academy. She has taught at Green Gables Equestrian Center in Terre Haute. Candice can turn a beginner into a champion and a disobedient or green horse into a show ring winner.
